A flagship workplace for Argyll in the heart of legal London. Cat A to Cat B fit-out across multiple floors, delivered within a Tier 1 contractor framework. Heritage character brought into close dialogue with contemporary high-density planning, for occupiers who expect both history and performance from a Chancery Lane address.

A D&B novation under QOB. The original concept came from another practice; the studio's role was to develop the design from that point, thinking as contractor: maintaining design intent while proving build, materials, details and budget at every decision gate. When the client asked during the project review how this volume could be delivered to programme, the answer was i/o spark. The lesson embedded in this project: the closer the studio operates to the client's operational problem, the more precisely the product can be built to solve it.
