A lounge for British Airways at Miami International Airport, designed at the meeting point of two distinct identities. The concept draws from the refined atmosphere of a traditional British members' bar, reinterpreted in Miami's register: warm accent colours, restrained references to the glamorous aesthetic of 1950s Miami, and an approach to hospitality that is at ease rather than formal. BA's heritage is present throughout, in material quality and spatial proportion, while the city asserts itself in character.

An early project for i/o atelier. At this stage of the practice, the studio had not yet formalised its workflows, had not identified which design steps could be systematised, and had not yet developed a framework for what an agent was. The direction was clear; the destination was not. This is the type of project that teaches before there is language for what is being learned. Everything built subsequently, i/o spark included, grew from instincts formed here.
